Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a specialty and passion for Mental Health. Life is unpredictable. I value the importance of recognizing life is not perfect, but if we can learn how to deal with those imperfections as they come, we can learn how to live life to our fullest abilities. I work best with young adults, and adults struggling with relationships, life transitions, goal setting, depression, and anxiety. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients; accountability to achieving goals, processing emotional distress, changing unhealthy behaviors, reframing distorted thought patterns, and exploring healthy coping mechanisms. I use evidenced based practices, such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy to help create effective and long-standing change.
My diverse experience has helped to shape the clinician I am today. I have 9+ years of experience working in a variety of settings, specifically beginning my career working as an individual adult therapist for a not-for-profit agency, providing therapy to individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Stress Management and Mood Disorders. Additionally, I have 3 years’ experience working in a hospital setting on an acute adult psychiatric crisis unit where I was supporting individuals struggling with crisis. As a current individual therapist in the Private Practice setting, I work well with client’s who are looking to be challenged and held accountable. I offer support and guidance as my client’s navigate their own life pathways and decision making. It is not easy to take that first step to seek therapy, but willingness is a great place to start! It is never too late to start improving your overall quality of life and I am here to help and be a support in that process.

It is important that you choose your therapist. No, really. It’s a relationship, just like any other, and the person you choose can make all the difference. Therapy is made to be a journey, where there is someone looking for clarity, new life, or just a guide to another place, and that someone enlists the aid and support of a trained professional that can spend the time and energy in this journey with them. Scott’s goal is to be the best possible guide and support that he can be to anyone looking for a new beginning or even a fresh take on an old viewpoint.
Scott has over ten years of experience in the mental health field, working as not only a licensed psychotherapist, but also as an inpatient mental health counselor and psychiatric social worker. Scott’s approach to therapy is quite simplistic, yet effective: treat all individuals as just that, individuals. He understands that there is not a “one size fits all” treatment plan and that every single person that comes through the door is a unique and complex being.
Scott graduated from National Louis University in 2018 with his Master of Science degree in clinical counseling and therapy. While in graduate school, Scott was an intern at LSC Therapy, a private practice counseling center for individuals and families. Before that, he knew that counseling and mental health was his passion and graduated in 2010 from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as a minor in history. Scott’s experience includes working on inpatient psychiatric units that have treated children, adult, and geriatric patients. Scott has effectively diagnosed and treated patients and clients that suffer from all ailments and diagnoses, including, but not limited to bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Scott also has experience in helping individuals from all communities, including the LGBTQi+ community, as well as people from all cultural backgrounds. If Scott sounds like the therapist you want to help guide and support you, please schedule an appointment to get the journey started.

Hello! My name is Tiffany Sanchez and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults through the setting of community mental health and inpatient psychiatric setting. I believe that “Mental health…is not a destination, but a process. It is about how you drive, not where you’re going” and as your therapist, I want to help you take back the control and stay in the driver’s seat. I have a B.A in Psychology from DePaul University and a Master’s in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University and currently pursing my Doctoral Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialty in policing thru Northcentral University. I currently work on staff on an inpatient psychiatric hospital unit and use various therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Model and a Person-Centered approach to help navigate life stressors, process areas of acceptance in our lives that we struggle the most with and regain control in areas of our lives that we felt the most disconnected with.
I have been raised by a father who immigrated from Cuba and a Puerto Rican mother that has taught me inclusion and have demonstrated the importance of overcoming financial and social barriers as well as defining perseverance. Through my diverse background it has afforded me the opportunity to break the stigma of mental health and work with individuals and families of all ethnicities and strengthen the communication across family dynamics.
In addition to being bilingual in Spanish, I have extensive experience working with Mood Disorders, Conflict Resolution, self-harming behaviors, addiction, family conflict, low self-esteem, cultural assimilation, relationship issues, and a variety of other areas that contribute to my eclectic approach. I hope you that you allow me to help you jump back in the driver seat and navigate your own mental health journey.

Where can you find an hour each week or every other week to just talk through things and talk about yourself? No, really, where do we find those unbiased non-judgemental conversations? Therapy! It can be a difficult and scary step for some, but you don't have to go through it alone. I am here for you!
Hi, my name is Ashley, a Licensed Social Worker, and I have a background in Mental Health. I have a background working with children and adults. I have worked outpatient therapy, been a sexual assault advocate, provided mental health therapy, been a supervisor for family preservation programs to keep families in-tact, middle school social worker services, and school social worker for elementary age students. Through my years of experience I have learned that connecting with an individual where they are at, is the most important part to change.
I have found that I have a passion helping others to overcome daily stressors, improve low self-esteem and learn to manage anxiety and depression. I enjoy working with adults and children. I don't think anyone should have to go through it alone. I work best with individuals looking to be encouraged and willing to try new things. If you are looking for someone who will challenge you, you've come to the right place.
My goal is to build your tool box! You are the only one who can do the work, I can support you through it, guide and educate, but ultimately it is up to you to put in the work. I believe in a mind and body connection. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, coping skills/strategies, strengths based therapy, and play therapy to help individuals achieve a better balance in life.

For well over a decade, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings providing direct patient care and managing large groups of clinical staff. My extensive experience in the field of mental health has taught me how life-changing therapy can be with a therapist who can help individuals work through challenges in life by understanding the whole person, resolving unresolved issues, and exploring new patterns of thinking.

I have spent over 20 years working in behavioral health, focusing on developmental disabilities and mental health services. Throughout my career, I’ve held leadership roles in residential and inpatient settings, always striving to create safe, supportive environments for individuals and families. Now, as I pursue a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, my goal is to expand my impact by helping people navigate life’s challenges through therapy and advocacy.
Currently, I serve as the Residential Service Director at Jack Mabley Developmental Center, where I oversee care for individuals with developmental disabilities. My career has taken me through various roles at Glen Oaks Hospital, Streamwood Behavioral Health, and Indian Oaks, where I provided direct care, supervised teams, and worked alongside medical professionals to support those in need.
For me, mental health isn’t just a career—it’s personal. As a father of four, including a set of autistic twins, I understand firsthand the complexities of neurodiversity, parenting, and the need for inclusive support systems. My experiences as a parent shape my approach to therapy, making me a strong advocate for families navigating similar paths.
At the core of my work is the belief in the power of human connection. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique. By meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and fostering trust, I help clients feel seen, heard, and understood. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I value the therapeutic relationship as a space for healing and growth.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy playing sports and chess, both of which help me unwind and sharpen my problem-solving skills. Whether on the court or the chessboard, I appreciate strategy, patience, and the lessons that come with every move.
At the heart of it all, I am passionate about helping people heal, grow, and find strength in their own stories. Through therapy, mentorship, and advocacy, I hope to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families.
